Serve
- Player begins with the ball in their non - hitting hand.
- The ball should be held in the palm of the hand out in front of the body.
- The hitting hand should be held about shoulder height in preparation for ball contact.
- The player should begin the serve by tossing the ball about a meter directly in
front of the hitting shoulder.
- When performing the arm swing, the player should extend the hitting arm above the head
while taking a step towards the ball. This step will assist in generating power when
contacting the ball.
The ball should be contacted above the head and approximately 0.5 meters in front of the
hitting shoulder. The hand should be held open and the ball should be contacted with the
palm of the hand.
